Each week we will have a progressive program where we start with some foundation techniques and drills and progress to some more technical skills and longer-distance paddles. Areas of training that we will cover include equipment, SUP racing, efficient paddling, turns, board control and handling, and group paddling. Some weeks we may venture to local rivers or canals to do some longer-distance paddles.
This is a great way to improve SUP fitness or cross-train for other sports. Most of all we are about encouraging each other with inclusive fun sessions aimed at promoting a bit of friendly competition and also setting some personal SUP goals in a supportive environment.
The central component of paddle boarding is simply having fun. Most of the people who attend love SUP fit as it enables them to spend time with people who are just as excited about SUP as they are!
