SUP Race 5km time trial (under 16's 2:5km) 14ft, 12’6, Leisure fleet, adaptive categories
Sprints 100m
XL Board race /Possible SUP Polo competition/ Freestyle
Come along and give it a go
The day is aimed at bringing novice and seasoned racers together for a fun inclusive race day to round off a great summer but also inspire some autumn/winter training.
Entries must be pre booked on link bellow.
Open to adults and Children over 10 years old who have completed a SUP induction or at least must be a Self Proficient paddler and able to effectively control there board and self-rescue (Under 18's must have parents or legal guardians’ consent) and be on site. There is also seated paddle board category for anyone with limited lower limb mobility and we welcome those that would like to take part and might need more extra support to get on the water.
We have sessions available leading up to the day that you can access such as the Intro to SUP, SUPfit/ Social paddle, Race training and adaptive paddleboard training sessions.

What to bring on day?
Bring your own board or pre book one of our boards for the race (No need to pump up yours we have limited boards so be quick)
Personal equipment PFD’s/Buoyancy aids and leash must be worn by paddlers (we can supply if you have none)
Towel/dry robe to get changed, there are changing rooms, hot showers, and toilet facility’s
£20 Adult, £10 Child (over 10 years old)
Price includes: Any kit if needed, water fees, prizes and medals (£5 extra board hire)
Bring a [packed lunch, there will be brews/water and snacks available.
The race format for the day (Timings may slip slightly) you can choose races on the day at registration.
09:150-10::00am arrive sort out your boards, warm up, book in etc..
10:15am Race brief /5km and 2.5km race starts (Adult/Youth/ Adaptive) (4 Laps 5km /2 laps 2:5km)
10:30 Race start.
12:15pm 100m sprints
12:45 Lunch Raffle Prize and Kudos
1:30pm Optional SUP Polo match Red Vs Blue/XL Board Race/Freestyle/ Social
2:30pm End of day wrap up Chill out social rest of afternoon.
The central component of paddle boarding is simply to have fun, and that most paddle folk love race days as it enables them to spend a day with people who are just as excited about SUP as they are 😊
