Description
Dive into an exhilarating new experience with our Beginner Group Surf Lesson at AberAdventures!
This two-hour introductory session is designed for those who are new to the thrilling sport of surfing. Learn the ropes from our highly-qualified and experienced surfing instructors, who are deeply passionate about sharing their love for the ocean. They are committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment where you'll be taught surfing techniques, beach safety, and equipment handling.
Included in your beginner surf lesson is an easy-to-understand overview of surfing theory and wave formation. This will be followed by a lot of practical guidance and hands-on practice.
No prior experience is required as our expert instructors work hard to ensure everybody stands up and catches their first wave by the session's end. Our lessons take place in the scenic coastal town of Borth, the perfect backdrop to learn this exhilarating sport. Enjoy the calming sound of the waves and feel the soft golden sand beneath your feet as you step into an adventure that is sure to be unforgettable.
Due to the weather-dependent nature of surfing, we recommend setting aside some flexibility in your schedule in the case that conditions are not favorable for a lesson.
Despite this, our goal remains to provide a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable introduction to the world of surfing. Equip yourself with a new skill, make new friends, and most importantly – have a blast while you're at it!

Itinerary
Our beginner surf lessons are a perfect, in depth introduction to the wonderful world of surfing or a brilliant refresher if youv've had a gap.
After getting into a warm UK winter wetsuit, boots and gloves (if it's winter!), you will receive a very thorough safety brief, to make sure you stay safe not only during the lesson, but whenever you visit the beach.
A warm up and then learning how to catch your first wave and ride in a prone position (lying down).
After a bit of practice, it's back on the beach to learn how to paddle to catch waves, stand up and ride with control.
