Hire a Kayak

Hire of Sit on Top Kayak with paddle, leash and Buoyancy Aid.

Buoyancy Aids must be worn.

SUP and Kayak hire is only available to independent paddlers. No instruction, rescue or recovery service is provided by Whiteadder Watersports. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult.

Avoid the area near the dam and spillway. Kayak hire may be provided as an alternative to paddleboard hire if it is too windy for Paddleboards, or the hire may be cancelled or postponed if the weather is unsuitable.

Children should be supervised by a responsible adult. Kayak hire is not recommended for children under 8 yrs.

Wear a buoyancy aid. You should be confident in water and be able to get back on your craft or swim with your craft to shallow water.

If you do not have your own, we can provide wetsuits, boots, Buoyancy Aids and Helmets.

Bring a towel, change of clothes, drink and snacks. Wear a swimsuit or non-cotton base-layer for under your wetsuit.

Bring a warm hat and outer layers if the weather is cold, which it often is in April, May and October.
