I have been down to Greenbank leisure Centre and due to being disabled and cannot walk very well one of the managers goes out of his way to help me in and out of the centre which is a great help for me and there is another lady in our class and he brought somebody else to help her too which I thought was really kind of them

I recently visited the gym at Greenbank Leisure Centre and was really impressed. It’s a clean, well-organised space with a solid range of equipment – everything from free weights and resistance machines to cardio kit, all in great condition.

The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, with a good mix of people training at different levels. Whether you're into strength training, general fitness, or just starting out, there’s plenty here to support your goals.

Staff were approachable and happy to answer any questions, and the whole place had a positive, community vibe. I also noticed how clean and well-maintained everything was, which makes a big difference during a workout.

Overall, Greenbank Leisure Centre gym is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to get fit in a friendly, no-pressure environment. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good membership prices. Only given 4 stars as they don't have enough cardio machines in the gym since the refurb. 8 treadmills, 3 cross trainers and 2 bikes isn't a lot.  Do have to wait when its busy.  The showers in the wet side changing rooms are freezing cold. Would be better if they were warm straight away, rather then having to let them run for ages to get them warm. Half the changing rooms and lockers don't lock properly

So pleased l signed my granddaughter up for swimming lessons at green bank leisure centre in swadlincote, she has Autism and ADHD she was anxious and very nervous about going so was l , a lady called Gracey went out of her way to help us and sorted my granddaughter out  and the 2 lady instructors that spent time with her completely put her at ease a big Thankyou for being so understanding and caring and supportive of her. All the staff seem lovely and helpful.

Fabulous I go 5 mornings a week facility’s are brilliant. Showers are always warm . Staff are very helpful
