    This bespoke course is designed to support and developing personal paddle skills in your preferred craft. Some paddling experience is required so that you can control your craft safely. There are opportunities to develop skills with other less familiar craft. During the two days the following will be provided.Paddlesport Safety and Rescue  -  delivered over two days so full attendance required for this Paddle UK registered course.     Understanding the Mechanics of Paddling - skill development :- forward/backwards + moving sideways + changes of direction

    Paddlesport Instructor / Coach style delivery ideas- the level delivered will depend upon students’ requirements- working with intervention ideas to aid learning + groupmanagement/control strategy

    NOTE: May 3rd/4th is geared at GLMW Scouting group and May 10th/11th is geared towards Hertfordshire Scouting Dive into an exhilarating two-day paddlesport adventure tailored for those looking to refine their personal and group paddling skills.

    Requirements

    Some paddling experience and able to control your chosen craft.


    What to bring

    Suitable clothing and footwear for the water and a dry set of clothes plus towel for afterwards. Plus personal food and drink. 

    Dry suits are available to hire for if required.
