Holiday Club at The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse sports and social hub is working with Essex ActivAte and Essex County Council to be offering funded active sessions from 10.00 to 14.00.
MAY 28th, 29th, 30th
We will be offering 30 free spaces a day.
These sessions will take place at The Lighthouse sports and social hub, lower marine parade, Harwich, CO12 3ST.
Our Holiday Clubs funded spaces are for Primary aged school children (5-11yrs) who are in receipt of benefits based free school meals or low income working families. Please complete the questionnaire and let us know which category you qualify under.
Children will receive a hot meal that meets the healthy eating standards provided for schools, drinks and snacks.
We have activity co-ordinators at hand keeping the children fully entertained throughout the day, our clubs are designed for children of all abilities. Every child will get the chance to develop and improve on day to day life skills as well as building confidence and self-esteem.
Each session is led by our fully qualified Activity Professionals, who ensure that your children are safe, having fun, and learning new skills. It is our goal to support, lead, and inspire children.
Activities at the club include fun engaging activities through:
Arts & Crafts
Cooking
Fitness
Multi Sports
Skating
Education
Socialising
Dancing
Please ensure that the children bring everything they need for the activities including trainers, sun screen and a hat if the weather forecast looks good, jogging bottoms, t-shirt, jumper (old clothes) and a coat if needed.
You MUST also fill in the questions required in booking email to ensure child’s place.
