As this waterway is one where we are guests rather than residents, please bring your PaddleUK Membership details for your Canal and River Trust Licence (Or buy a day licence)
Parking will be in a pub car park, you will need to register your vehicle for the ANPR - and we will make a visit afterwards for a drink to refresh and warm up and thank them for the parking facilities.
We have a small number of equipment available to hire, please select that on the next page if you do not currently have your own board.
If you are bringing your own board, please remember your Quick Release Waist Belt Leash and PFD for safety purposes, again we do have a few available to hire at extra cost if needed, but please let us know before the day, so that we can plan accordingly and bring them with us.
Please wear Autumn winter suitable SUP Clothing:
A lightweight, quick dry, thermal Layering System with
Windproof/waterproof top layers available or Neoprene/Dry Seperates.
Please call if you would like advice on this.
Neoprene Boots/ or soft soled footwear like trainers/plimsoles that you don't mind getting wet.
(Waterproof socks recommended for warmth)
Warm hat and gloves
Flask with a warm Drink/snacks for the rest break.
Towel/robe & a change of clothes for afterwards.
