Introduction to Navigation
Description
This is for anyone who wants to get started or improve their skills with a map and compass. We will spend the day looking at various navigation skills to improve your understanding of how best to use these tools.
We will also look at what we should carry when venturing into the hills and what information is available to us before we go.
The day will be spent walking but we won't be covering great distances so it would be equally beneficial to anyone venturing into the outdoors by any means.

Good away day. Small lake for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking. Other outdoor activities (archery). Changing room and composting toilet on site, apart from that no other on site facilities.
