RYA Stage 3
Having completed an RYA Stage 2 in Picos, the next step is the RYA Stage 3 Course.
In the RYA Stage 3, you will continue to develop rigging and sailing techniques, capsize recovery and sailing theory, as well as launching and recovery skills. This course is for those looking to build confidence and develop the skills needed to sail upwind and downwind in moderate conditions.
We will look at sailing a triangular course using the five essentials, coming alongside a moored boat, picking up a mooring and Improve on rigging, sailing theory, launching and recovery. Boats used will be Picos, Lasers and Fevas (dependant on conditions).
All equipment is provided, including a wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
This is a five-day course, 6 hours a day, and you'll receive an RYA Stage 3 certificate on successful completion.
