Bring your own sailing dinghy and enjoy the reservoir for the day

Description

Our 'Bring Your Own' allows you to enjoy the reservoir using your own sailing dinghy for the day while the centre is open, you must hold a Dinghy RYA Level 2 Certificate or above.

Please ensure you have valid third party/public liability insurance. Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times while on the jetties and on the water.

Engines, including electric outboards, are not permitted on any day launch.

Available Tuesday- Sunday

Please Note: A BYO Day Launch can enjoy the water for the day. Please select the hour that you are going to arrive at the centre.

All day launches must be off the water by 4pm, regardless of your arrival time.

Requirements

Dinghy RYA Level 2 Certificate or above

What to bring

Please bring:

Change of Clothes
Sailing Clothes
Buoyancy Aid - if you have your own, otherwise this will need to be hired from the centre
Suitable footwear you don't mind getting wet
Towel

Itinerary

You are welcome to bring your car up to the drop off area by the centre, unload and then please park your car in the car park while you are out on the water.
