Half Day Old Harry Rocks Kayak Tour

Jump aboard the kayaks to explore Studland bay before heading out to Old Harry Rocks. From here, like pirates have done before us, we’ll explore the arches and stacks of this iconic landmark and journey along the cliffs to take in this stunning part of the Jurassic coastline. This adventure is the perfect introduction for those who have little or no experience of kayaking - as well as for the more kayak savvy. If the session is full join another time or book one of our 2 hour Old Harry Rocks trips or 2 hour SUP sessions.

Please Note:

These trips are run using double sit on top kayaks so please book in your family or social groups as you will be sharing a double kayak. If you are booking a group that is an odd number we have some single (sit on top) kayaks or triple kayaks (suitable for 2 adults and 1 small child) reserved for this situation only. If you are booking as an individual and do not want to share a kayak with someone else please book on the half day intro to sea kayak trips which are run in single closed cock pit kayaks as we cannot guarantee availability of the single kayaks for a single booking. 

Children:

If your child is within 6 months of the suggested age you are fine to go ahead and book this experience or if they are younger you can book on a 2 hour trip for age 8+. Under 14s cannot go in a kayak alone, they need to be accompanied in a kayak with an adult in their group. You will wear Buoyancy aids and there is no requirement to be able to swim.

3. Min age suggested is 12+
4. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
5. Under 14s need to be accompanied in a kayak with an adult in their group.
6. Please arrive in swimwear!

We supply;

1. wetsuits (sizes from xxs - xxl)
2. cags, helmets, buoyancy aids
3. equipment

You will need to bring;

1. footwear (old trainers or aqua shoes are fine) is essential. Open sliders and flipflops are not suitable. 
2. A base layer must be worn under the long john wetsuit (manmade fabric tshirt or rash vest)
3. bathing suits / shorts must be worn under wetsuit
4. If you would prefer to bring your own wetsuits then please do so.

After changing we will head down to our beach hut where you will receive your watersports equipment and a safety briefing before heading out on your adventure with your guide!
