Description

⛵ What’s it all about?

RYA Stage 2 is the next step for young sailors ready to build on the basics. Aimed at those who have completed Stage 1 or have some sailing experience, this course develops skills in boat control, rigging, and sailing independently - all while having fun on the water.

It's a supportive, practical course that boosts confidence and gives young people more freedom and responsibility in the boat.

💧 What you’ll get up to:

  1. Rig and launch a dinghy independently
  2. Learn how to sail in all directions with control
  3. Improve steering, tacking and gybing skills
  4. Understand basic rope work and sailing theory
  5. Work towards your RYA Stage 2 certificate
  6. Take part in fun, progressive exercises on the water

✅ All equipment and RYA certificates are included

🛟 Safety First

All sessions are delivered by RYA-qualified instructors. Buoyancy aids are worn at all times. Wetsuits and sailing gear are provided - just bring your essentials.
