  • Description

It’s that magical time of year where we’re transitioning from the regular open water season to the cold water swimming (below 14 degrees). This intro is a blend of our regular open water intro and our cold water intro.

No wetsuit? No problem, we include use of our hire wetsuits free of charge for the intro session. Wetsuits are optional.

    Who Should Attend?

This session is perfect for swimmers who want to tryabout open water swimming, either before the regular season ends or to get ready for early events next year. It's also great for those interested in learning more about cold water (winter) swimming.

    What You Will Learn

    1. Safety First: Understand the safety protocols of open water swimming, including how to deal with various water conditions.
    2. Basic Techniques: Learn essential swimming techniques that are unique to open water, such as navigating without lane lines.
    3. Comfort in Water: Build confidence and comfort, learning how to stay calm and controlled in an open water setting.
    4. Swimming Efficiency: Techniques to help you swim more efficiently in a natural environment.

We met 3 of the team and all were so helpful and patient with my son who has some additional needs. They went above and beyond. Prices are very reasonable. Place is clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
