    1. Full day SUP tour
    2. Coaching and tips along the way
    3. A focus on both safety and fun
    4. Friendly and supportive environment
    5. Photos, so you can put your phone away, and enjoy the day šŸ“ø

    What to expect

Meeting in the picturesque village of Dedham on Saturday morning, we will paddle down river towards Flatford Mill and Willy Lott's Cottage where we'll stop for lunch. Plenty of photo opportunities here and a chance to wander around taking in the sights which John Constable painted in 1821 (The Hay Wain).

Then continue our journey paddling down river towards Cattawade. Here we might be lucky enough to spot Oystercatchers, Redshanks and Lapwings.

During the day there will be the opportunity to also have a some tuition with Paddle UK SUP Coaches India & Joshua.

    1. Maybe you want to make your stroke more efficient?
    2. Or you'd like to improve your turns?
    3. Or perhaps practice safety and rescue skills?

Once back to base, we shall reside at a local public house for food and refreshments šŸ»

The surroundings can only be described as quintessentially British. The area is steeped in history, and the clear waters mean you can see fish and other wildlife. There’s a great video by 'Its a Wildlife' on YouTube, which shows you some of the route we will be paddling, watch it here. This trip is designed as an opportunity to retreat from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. With small group sizes and an emphasis on having fun outdoors, this gentle paddle is an opportunity for you to explore new waterways and make new SUP friends :)

    1. Food & drink
    2. Parking fees at any car parks

🩹 The quality of our local waterways is something to always be aware of and it’s important to do your own research regarding this. When paddle boarding with us we ask that you cover up any minor cuts and abrasions, and to wash once you are home if you fall/swim in the river, this is to reduce the risk of disease such as weil's disease. Paddle Up strongly recommends not to participate in paddling if I have any open wounds, and instead to reschedule. Read our FAQ's here.
