Groundswell Surf festival 2026

DAY TICKET ONLY (over 16yrs)

September 5th 2026 SATURDAY 9am - 8pm

Groundswell Scotland’s annual Surf Festival bringing intention and connection into surfing, nature connection, music, fitness and well-being through the sea, ceremony and celebration of women and waves.

We are delighted that this year's Surf Festival will be held at our home- the stunning Pease Bay beach and function room at Verdant Leisure Caravan Site.

This fundraiser will go towards paying forward Surf Therapy courses for women, build community and bring surf community together around this common cause.

Please buy the correct ticket at the point of sale.

We have 10 tickets available with hire and 10 without.

You need to add extra (wetsuit & board hire) when buying your ticket.

Please bring extra food for the evening:

hot drinks, snacks, soup, salads, tea and coffee are provided at 1330, let us know about any dietary retirements.

Our surf coaches are experienced ISA Level 1 and 2 coaches with SLSGB Surf Lifeguard qualifications. We are insured and qualified for all activities that we are running.

We are strictly adhering to current Scottish government and sportscotland guidelines. We are also affiliated with the Scottish Surf Federation.

3. 1015-1315 Warm up and Coached new by, beginner & intermediate surfing
4. 1330-1430 LUNCH soup, salads & cake
5. 1430-1530 Check in & Tea Tasting with Erica from @eteaket
6. 1530-1715 Nature Connection walk, folklore and plants with Abby and nature sound bath with Kirsty
7. 1730- 1830 Yoga
8. 1830-1930 Music and story telling with Harley (bring a packed tea to eat by the fire)
9. 1930-2000 Closing Ceremony
