Description
Our half day climbing sessions will start by introducing you to bouldering. Staying low to the ground we will show you how to hone your climbing skills and work out the best way to move on the rock.
Then comes the true rock climbing experience, taking your new bouldering skills we will show you how to put on the harness, tie into the ropes and how to belay your team mates. This full involvement activity promotes trust and communication between all the climbers.
Now's the time to hit the rock! With one team mate belaying for you, under the watchful eye of your rock climbing instructor, you will ascend the rock face.
Its this feeling of overcoming a challenge and the accomplishment that keeps people coming back again and again to climb on Anglesey.
It is possible for under 16's to take part in an activity without an adult taking part, however there must be a responsible adult in the area for the duration of the session.

What to bring
THE KIT YOU NEED:
We will provide the key safety items; the helmets and harnesses. You will need to prepare yourself with the following:
- Trainers or boots on your feet. Any shoe must cover the whole foot (i.e. not sandals or similar), mustn’t be able to fall off (like crocs) and they will need to have a flattish sole (not stilettos or high heels of any sort).
- Flexible clothing, anything that’s not restrictive is good.
- Warm, windproof or wterproof clothing, sometimes…. This is of course based on the weather, if there is a bit of a breeze a blowin’ then it could get chilly so have full length clothing and a jacket of some sort. If it’s raining you’ll need to put waterproofs on to keep dry, thankfully the rain doesn’t really effect the activity.
- Suncream and any medication you might generally carry.
