  • Description

Our fun Kayaking sessions range from learning new skills, journeying along the spectacular Anglesey coastline, splashing in waves and playing games to gain skills and confidence.

We have a fleet of sit on top kayaks, which are super safe, easily manoeuvrable and stable, plus a couple of tandem sit on tops to cover all abilities.

Outdoor activities are weather dependent. For safety reasons, we may have to reschedule the activity or arrange an alternative venue. When this is necessary we will contact you on the contact number provided.

Minimum participation age is 10 years. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who takes part in the activity). 16-18 need to have an adult in the vicinity.

You will be required to drive a short distance (less than 10 mins) and provide your own transport for this activity.

Please Note: In Low Season the minimum number of participants for a session to run is 3 people.

You may also be asked to get involved with moving the kayaks a short distance to the beach (less than 100m), this is part of the activity and you'll be helped by the other participants.

Please contact us on 01407 769351 if you are not able to make the booking through this service or to arrange group bookings.

    Requirements

Minimum age 10 (may have to go in tandem kayak dependent on wind conditions and paddling ability)

Please complete the following declarations where applicable:

    What to bring

    THE KIT YOU NEED:

We will provide you with a winter wetsuit to keep you warm, a buoyancy aid and helmet.

    You would need to bring:

    - Shoes. Any shoes that will stay on your feet when swimming will do the trick. They are obviously going to get wet! So don't bring your best pair.

    - Swimsuit. Wetsuits are worn next to skin, and definitely work best like this. You should only wear your swimming costume underneath, be it trunks, bikini or swimming costume. (Baggy shorts under a wetsuit aren’t ideal)

    - Towel. For getting changed afterwards.

    - Spare clothes for afterwards (if you arrive in swimming costumes, underwear etc).

    - Sun cream and any medication you would usually carry.

    1. Something to keep your car seats dry on the drive back to the centre post activity. Bin bag, spare towel, car seat cover etc.

    Itinerary

Arrive at Anglesey Outdoors. Complete Medical Forms

Get Kitted up in 5mm winter weight wetsuits, buoyancy aids and Helmets.

Short drive in your own vehicles to venue.

Enjoy a kayaking session, journeying, learning skills, playing games or whatever suits!

    Return to the Centre

    Shower, change

Just had a lovely weekend in the bunkhouse at Anglesey Outdoors. It was a quiet weekend, I had sole occupation of a room for 3 (it would be cramped for 3). Best of all was the cooked breakfast (veggie option for me) at ...

A great bunk house. My husband has used it a lot, the first time for me, but would use it again. Only comment would be a bit of bleach down the toilet wouldn't go a miss x

We stayed in our caravan so can't comment on the rooms. The whole complex has a relaxed vibe. Great location near beaches. On site pub is quiet and friendly, bar food looks good but we didn't have time try any. Outdoors ...
