  • Description

Join us for this classic adventure.

It’s big, 120 foot (40m) of vertical rock face beneath you! Do you have what it takes to lean back, commit to it and control your own descent down the massive cliff face?

There is also the opportunity to have a second go if you fancy it.

We meet at the venue in Holyhead for the abseil. The views from the top are amazing, looking over the Breakwater at Holyhead out towards the Skerries Lighthouse. On a good day you can see the Isle of Man.

The Breakwater Park is full of interesting industrial archaeological heritage and joins the Coastal Path around North Stack and the Rocky Coast.

Minimum participation age is 8 years, but this would be for very daring 8-year-olds.

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Please contact us on 01407 769351 if you are not able to make the booking through this service or to arrange group bookings

    Requirements

Minimum participation age is 8 years, but this would be for very daring 8-year-olds.

Please complete the following declarations where applicable:

Acknowledgment of risk (aged 18+): https://forms.gle/hX8HZL6AufmgJrbw8

Acknowledgment of risk (under 18s): https://forms.gle/G8YgXrpPQTJHPTU6A

    Medical information form

     https://forms.gle/TsbaoxSeT24cYFb8A

This is a legal requirement, and failure to provide such forms for unaccompanied under 18's means they will not be able to take part. It is your responsibility to ensure this is done and you must communicate with the party you book for accordingly.

    What to bring

    HE KIT YOU NEED:

We will provide the key safety items; the helmets and harnesses. You will need to prepare yourself with the following:

    1. Trainers or boots on your feet. Any shoe must cover the whole foot (i.e. not sandals or similar), mustn’t be able to fall off (like crocs) and they will need to have a flattish sole (not stilettos or high heels of any sort :)).
    2. Flexible clothing, anything that’s not restrictive is good.
    3. Warm and windproof clothing, sometimes…. This is of course based on the weather, if there is a bit of a breeze a blowin’ then it could get chilly so have full length clothing and a jacket of some sort. If it’s raining you’ll need to put waterproofs on to keep dry, thankfully the rain doesn’t really effect the activity.
    4. Suncream and any medication you might generally carry.

    Itinerary

Its a big abseil at the the breakwater park in holyhead.

Just had a lovely weekend in the bunkhouse at Anglesey Outdoors. It was a quiet weekend, I had sole occupation of a room for 3 (it would be cramped for 3). Best of all was the cooked breakfast (veggie option for me) at ...

A great bunk house. My husband has used it a lot, the first time for me, but would use it again. Only comment would be a bit of bleach down the toilet wouldn't go a miss x

We stayed in our caravan so can't comment on the rooms. The whole complex has a relaxed vibe. Great location near beaches. On site pub is quiet and friendly, bar food looks good but we didn't have time try any. Outdoors ...
