Description
Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening condition, and this practical course will give you the skills and confidence to recognise someone who has anaphylaxis and to take the appropriate action to save their life. The course will cover the following topics.
- Recognise a casualty with anaphylaxis.
- Be able to manage a casualty with anaphylaxis.
- Manage a casualty who is breathing normally.
- Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
The Anaphylaxis Awareness course is certified for three years although like other first aid courses it is recommended that you undertake annual refresher training.
What to bring
Please come suitably dressed to play in an active role in the course which might entail lying on the floor.
Requirements
No previous training is required and the minimum age for attendance is 15.

This is a 90 minute course.
