    Do you get a bit lost swimming laps week after week?

    Do you feel like your fitness is growing, but your technique is stuck?

    Do you feel like you've plataued on a swim distance and aren't sure how to get past it?




    Fitness With Focus is a brilliant way to reinvigorate your swim training, adding a supervised swim session to your weekly swims.

    These swimming sessions follow different sets, supervised by a level 2 Swimming Teacher offering technique pointers and pacing tips throughout. You can dip in and out, but there will also be progression through the 4-6 week blocks so to maxmimise benefit, swimming each week is best.










    The session will have some lengths of different strokes (choice strokes) but these are optional.








    swimmers will be across two lanes, depending on speed but plenty of space in each lane for flexibility of speed.





    Swim With Jo Jones offers space in the water for people to swim better. Jo is an expereinced swimmer, swim teacher and swim coach. She has swum competitively for many years at clubs, specialising in the 200m Butterfly, 400m freestyle, and 800m freestyle. She found her niche of swimming outdoors as a teenager and has conquered channel swims (English, Bristol, Solent), Ice swims (GB 500m chamion 2020) and swum at world chamionship level. She's taught swimming for nearly 20 years, and coached outdoor swimming for 5 years.

    She prides herself on enthusiasm, qualification, experience and knowledge sharing and any swimming teachers she brings into her team are carefully picked to uphold these standards also.

    Her aim is to enable people to swim more, with more knowledge, be it in different environments, different distances, or different swim styles and to unlock more joy from water experiences.








    Requirements


    swim 2 lengths (50m) without stopping comfortaby.

    swim 1500 or more within an hour (2 lanes available for different speeds, please outline your speed when you book)



    What to bring


    swimsuit, swim cap, goggles. Towel and shower stuff as needed.

    Kickboard / Pull Buoy / FLippers / Snorkel advantageous but not essential

    Itinerary

    follow a planned swim set in a 25m pool which aims to build fitness and offer technique pointers to improve both fitness and efficiency in the water. this is mostly for front crawl swimming, but there will be some other strokes to mix things up (entirely optional with alternatives given)
