Description
This is for booking a taster session for 8 or more people. It can also be used as a group session for children or adults going out with family or friends.
Going out on the water with an instructor for your first time is always a good idea. All of our instructors have a wealth of knowledge across a variety of disciplines.
For your first time on the water, they are particularly useful for talking you through your chosen craft (usually kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards), teaching you how to safely get on and off of the water, and teaching you the basics of how to get around while you’re on it.
On the other hand, some people prefer not to be coached too much, but just have a guided paddle on the water, having an instructor with them for reassurance and feeling safer. If there is not a time available that suits you, please send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Requirements
What to bring
Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather. A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session. Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.
