    Join us for a day of adventure! Practice all the skills needed to be confident in the outdoors! Test your bushcraft skills by building shelters and learning new knots, as well as making fires and cooking your own food!

    Practise navigation and map reading skills with our orienteering route!

    In addition to practising your aim with some axe throwing!

    Finally, test your co-ordination with a paddle around the local area to spot some wildlife! (Weather dependent)







    Requirements
    1. Participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
    2. The participant should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.


    What to bring

    Please ensure that each participant has clothes appropriate to the weather and a change of clothes (preferably two changes) including:

    1. Footwear - Old trainers for bushcraft & wet boots or old shoes you don’t mind getting wet (not flip-flops, sandals or wellington boots)
    2. Lightweight trousers or shorts
    3. T-shirt / Long sleeved garment
    4. Lightweight sweatshirt
    5. Windproof top and trousers
    6. Hat, sunscreen
    7. Drink
    8. Packed Lunch
    9. Towel and dry clothing
    10. Any medication eg: Inhaler, EpiPen (ensure staff are informed of any medication that you drop your child off with on the day).



    Itinerary

    Join us 9am-3pm for a day of adventure! Start the day with some survival skills and map reading, followed by an afternoon of axe throwing and then a paddle around the local area (weather dependent).
