Head Torch Paddle

To mark the end of our summer social paddling we run a head torch paddle, please bring any torches that you have, we will also ensure that everyone is visible and safety is maintained for the session.

You are welcome to join in if you have paddled in our SunSetters sessions this year. Crafts available are; canoes, kayaks or katakanus.

1. Participants should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
2. The participants should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.

Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather. A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session. Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.

If you have a head torch available, please bring it with you.

You will go for a paddle with our instructors, on our stretch of the river, exploring it under a different light.
