Requirements

This is a novice level trip, you should be comfortable being outside for the duration of the trip. Your paddling skills don't need to be excellent but we do recommend you've been on the water before coming on the trip.!

What to bring

What you need to bring with you:


  1. Clothing for paddling
  2. Full waterproofs
  3. Outdoor clothing you don't mind getting smelly and a wee bit damp in
  4. Shoes for being on the water (trainers or boots you don't mind getting wet, or wellies. We do not recommend thin wetsuit boots for this trip as there is some walking to be done.)
  5. Clothing for in camp
  6. Dry clothes for around camp
  7. Dry shoes
  8. Sleeping system
  9. Sleeping bag
  10. Sleep matt
  11. Thermals to sleep in
