Pennywort Removal

IMPORTANT: THERE ARE NO RAFTS

This is a great opportunity to support the Canals and Rivers Trust with clearing Pennywort from the Beeston Canal.

The club has done this activity a number of times now and has made a real difference, and we are now returning to clear more of this invasive menace.

If you would like to borrow club kit please let us know and pick it up prior. Andrew will be down at the club from 9AM Saturday.

Please help give something back to the waterways that we love by clearing this menace out of the water. It is a wet and at times heavy activity but great fun and best of all a completely free activity for club members .

Meet at 10AM at Showcase cinema car park. On the water at 1030 finish at 1230

Buoyancy aid if you have one, otherwise please request one on the kit request.

Wear clothes to get wet. Protect arms and eyes and wear an hat. Bring clothes to get changed back into. Drink and snack.
