Slalom junior learners - Mondays

4th, (Thursday) 7th, 11th and 18th May 2026

A 4 session introduction to slalom kayaking with the top team at Holme Pierrepont Canoe Club. The aim is to build confidence on the water with basic skill development and games, which will lead to even more fun on the moving water.

Following on from the introduction sessions there are opportunities to train and compete within one of the best environments in Europe.

Wear clothing to get wet in. Wetsuits are ideal to begin with. Footwear is required but not flip-flops.

No thick clothes like jeans or baggy jumpers as once they are wet they become heavy and cold. Equipment provided includes: boats, paddles, life jackets, helmets.
