Normanton on Soar to Trent Lock 25th Oct

• Paddle 12km from Normanton on Soar to Trent Lock
• Pass three or four locks, depending on whether the storm locks are open
• Take any craft, including a stand-up paddle board

This trip is 12km with 3 or 4 locks depending on whether the storm locks are open or closed. Suitable for all craft including standup paddle boards.

This is a great trip for those relatively new to touring as well as those who have done a lot of trips. You need to be able to control your craft and should have paddled out on the Trent or another trip before booking this trip

The club trailer will be available if you need boats transporting for this trip.

Please fill in the kit hire form so we know if you need kit and whether you need a place on the trailer. It will be your responsibility to collect kit and to load your boat onto the trailer.

You will need to arrive at Normanton on Soar at 9am for a 10.30 paddle off.

This trip is suitable for anyone that has paddled on the River Trent, or on any of our previous club trips.

A full kit list will be provided on booking, but you should bring clothing suitable for the weather conditions and a spare set of clothing, and a packed lunch and hot drink.
