Kitesurfing Course

KA Adventure Sports have been running kitesurfing lessons around the Northumberland coastline since 2009 operating along the beautiful beaches of Beadnell Bay, Bamburgh and Budle Bay. These locations cover 100% of the wind directions within a 10 minute drive of our base at Beadnell car park. This lesson will be with one of our experienced British Kitesports Instructors and will cover the basics of Kitesurfing including - Wind awareness, Hazards and Safety, Kite rigging and set up, Kite control, Power strokes and Body dragging (dependent on students ability) The session will progress at the correct level for each individual student to suit there kitesurfing needs, experience and ability.

We can use 2 inflatable kites at the same time per instructor, so as soon as you are capable you get your own kite.

We provide all equipment required including wet suit, helmet, harness, buoyancy aid and relevant kitesurfing equipment.

Location will be disclosed the day before the lesson is scheduled depending on the wind and tide conditions.

We also have a shop located in Beadnell Carpark at our container selling kites boards, paddle boards, wetsuits dry robes and more!

Reasonable level of confidence when out of your depth

Please bring a swimming costume to wear under wet suit. 

Bring the usual sun cream, water, warm clothes and food and a warm drink for after if required.

KA Adventure Sports provides all equipment required to take part in the activity.

We will meet at the arranged location depending on the conditions that day.
