Welsh Schools Champs 2025 - PRIMARY

In partnership with Select Schools Skiing, we invite your school to participate in the Snowsport Cymru/Wales Welsh Schools Skiing Championships 2025. Our programme of events over the weekend of 11th/12th October 2025 are open to all school aged children. Our Primary Schools event will be held in LLANGRANNOG SKI CENTRE on Saturday 11th October 2025.

Event Timing:

14:00hrs Race bib collection

14:30hrs Warm up and practice session (30 mins)

15:15hrs Race (2x timed runs, fastest time to count for results)

17:30hrs Prize giving

Please ensure the correct event for your age group is selected when booking. Contact our office on membership@snowportwales.com with any questions or queries.

Entries for the events will close at 5pm on Monday 6th October (5 days before the event) or earlier if entries reach capacity. This year numbers will be limited to a total of 60 primary school competitors.

PLEASE NOTE: we require all competitors to complete in full and return our COMPETITOR DETAIL ENTRY FORM by 5pm on Monday 6th October to membership@snowsportwales.com

Participants must be competent skiers, able to use the ski lift, turn left and right, stop on the hill, and be able to control their speed of descent.  A practice session will be provided on the race day with a simple slalom.   If further training is required contact your local Ski Club or centre for details.

Ski equipment if you have it and clothing for the weather expected. Arms and legs must be covered, gloves must be worn at all times when skiing.

N.B. Helmets are mandatory for all competitors.
